The Creekside Elementary School K-Kids, a branch of the Kiwanis for elementary school students, raised $2,401.25 to benefit the veterans’ monument at Spearfish City Park. The K-Kids encouraged their peers to bring in spare change, calling their campaign “Money for Military Monument.” Mitch Mechaley and Derek Besler accepted the check.
