Community service was on full display at the June 4, 2023, annual pancake breakfast hosted by the Spearfish Veterans Monument. Volunteers from Scout Troops 17 and 117, as well as Cub Scout Pack 17, served meals and helped with cleanup, demonstrating the strong partnership between local scouting units and veterans' organizations.
