The black granite for the first wall for the Spearfish Veterans Monument was ordered in April and should arrive in July.
“We thank everyone who has donated so generously up to this date,” Doug Henwood, committee member, said, describing how the donations have allowed the groundwork to be completed, flag pole installed, concrete poured, electrical work completed, and now, granite for the first wall ordered.
